David S. Meinbach, MD

Dr. David Meinbach completed his medical education at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida.  He remained at the University of Miami for his internship and residency training in general surgery and urology.  While in residency, Dr. Meinbach received awards for his research in prostate cancer and the David Weinstein Award for his expertise in voiding dysfunction.

Following residency, Dr. Meinbach gained specialized training in robotic and minimally invasive and laparoscopic urologic surgery during a year-long fellowship at the Urology Centers of Alabama in Birmingham, one of the top 5 robotic centers in the country. 

Dr. Meinbach has authored several articles which have been published in peer reviewed journals, and presented multiple abstracts at regional and national meetings.  His clinical interests include minimally invasive treatment of urologic cancers, stone disease, and urinary incontinence.
