Dr. David Weinstein

 

Dr. Weinstein specializes in minimally invasive laser technology in treating both prostate disease and kidney stones.

Dr. Weinstein has been practicing as an urologist in Palm Beach County since 1990. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, he attended the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and completed his residency training there. While at Mount Sinai Hospital, his studies focused on advances in treatment of bladder and prostate cancer.

Dr. Weinstein is an active member of the staff at both Bethesda and JFK Hospitals and is on the teaching staff for both FAU and NOVA University Medical schools. He has served on numerous committees and is presently the chairman of the Peer Review Committee at Bethesda Hospital.

Dr. Weinstein has gained wide respect for his diagnostic ability as well as his down-to-earth approach to patient care. His focus presently is on minimally invasive laser technology in treating both prostate disease and kidney stones.

Dr. Weinstein is widely recognized for his excellence as a provider of advanced urological care in Palm Beach County. In 2013 the Palm Beach County Medical Society recognized his work with Project Access by naming Dr. Weinstein the Surgical Physician of the Year. He is Board Certified, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Medical Association and the Palm Beach County Medical Society, and an Affiliate Assistant Professor at FAU College of Medicine.
